family members in same portal
Clients who are in the same family should be able to be combined to one portal. Clients can't use the same email to set up more than one portal, and therefore need to create another email to finalize paperwork for other child/family member.

That might be considered a HIPAA violation, however I have had success with families using the same address for multiple accounts, however I had to stay on the phone with them and send the Portal Activation links one by one to make sure the username/passwords were for the correct client, and then made sure the usernames were saved by the family. Procentive officially doesn't recommend the same email address, however in cases where people have more than one provider with Procentive, or when clients have multiple family members as clients and don't mention that during intake, it happens.
It's especially difficult in situations where there are clients who have more than one provider who uses Procentive; I had a client call me who was frustrated to tears because, "When I click the link for paperwork, my daughter's file comes up! She isn't even a client here!" I instructed her to go to the portal homepage and log out, and then sent her a new activation link and that worked.
I'm surprised that the Portal doesn't log out after a certain amount of time; on shared computers that could be a privacy concern . Some people are still logged in from clinics they haven't been to in over a year.
